i know what you mean ... it's loose , it's raw , it's real , it's good ... but it certainly aint punk rock . i know what you mean . but really punk rock dosen't mean anything to anyone much anymore , & it's irrelevant to 99.99999999999999999999999999% of people these days & certainly its irrelevant to these people 's lives . don't you think it's about time we all got over fucking punk fucking rock ... & about time we came up with a better term to apply to raw , real aesthetic / feel that isn 't tied it to a predominately middle class teenage white boy movement from 30+ yrs ago ???

rjsam: I understand your point, but until someone can come up w/ a good substitute term for "punk rock", even if the whole genre got sold down the river years ago, I'll have to keep using it.

rjsam has a valid point. Perhaps we could start using the term "lumpen" (as in "lumpen proletariat" - which is not actually a Swedish grindcore band)

So punk rock is a working-class thing now? Ugh, I give up. Sounds like a semantics dispute I won't be a part of. Sorry.

Wow! This stuff is great... something tells me they're not about to hit the studio, though :)
